Hi all, Here is my first WIP of my current build. This build has many first time, first MAK, first WIP report, first figure painting, first using cement, first using Acrylic, first epoxy putty and first using hand painting. I am working on the first Maschinen Krieger Kauz Nitto kit which bought from Julius. Great kit to work and so far so good. Hope it turns out to be ok. The color for this kit might not be the typical MAK color but I am thinking to change it a little. Here are some of the pictures so far. Thanks. This is the front box. Most of the parts have assembled and waiting to be sprayed! Painted the internal Internal part Painted the figure using Acrylic and dry brush After painted the internal, assemble the cover, ready to spray! Hope these are ok. Thanks for visiting!

Whoa! Vintage NITTO! Lovely one! If you found nothing tedious on the vintage kit, then you would be more enjoyable doing Wave kit! Can't wait to see its completion since it's still mid of progress....... Sidenotes: Any Nitto kits in your hand at the moment?

Hi
So far the kit is ok but not as polish as the newer kit. It definitely much easier to assemble this than Gundam minus the need to use cement. I still have some Nitto kits like Fledemaus and Fireball. If you don't tell me, I don't know Nitto is vintage kit, does it worth double the price?
Thx

Here is another first, first time using epoxy putty. The result is not that good. Not as uniform as I expected. Any tips? When I tried to create the shape, the putty keeps coming off. How do I create the iron cast side effect? Any good tutorial? I already use file to sand the surface.... Here is the result.

For weld-seam, i used pla-strip as my ingredient. Once you ve' cemented around the desired perimeter area, apply thin cement on the strip. The strip will eventually giveway and melt. After that, used a tiny flat bar and start kneading as your preference. Here's what i ve done for weld seams:- www.pla-zone.com/index.cgi?board=sf&action=display&thread=63Hope this will help. Cheers! It helps a bit but not so clear. Guess I am not to that level yet. Will try to use epoxy putty first. Thanks

Mention Nitto and Phoon's shark mode activates... ;D
I really like that old pilot figure design.... classic man!
True to Kow's kitbash roots, he musta have taken it from some bike kit or something...

Very informative wips and thxz for sharing! Just a lil comment that your silver will be much glitter if you used gloss coat rather than matt coating....just my 2 cents of worth here.....sides that, brilliant color scheme for Ma.K subject! Bravo!!

Thanks Phoon for the information. The matt coat is intentional because want to give the kit more heavy duty feel. Thanks.
