Bought it from Hobby Forge, nice kit and good recommendation from them.. Upon getting it, Mitsubishi Zero was what I had in mind, considering the ork uniform and the bombs looks much suited. Initially wanted to do single bomb in the middle of the craft but there's two in the kit.. so why not both?? This kit is also the first time I m experimenting with hairspray technique on the whole kit. My findings, hairspray chipping works better with lacquer as top layer as opposed to acrylics.. 9could be something went wrong but i dunno what) So its ... DONE on 21042014 WARNING! Picture Intensive Deff from the skies!! as my friend puts itWARRRGGGHHH!!! Bomb Bomb
Upskirt shot... ;P The moment you see furnace and bombs!!! Happy Charliez , i call it Napalm!!! Ze Ork Pilot.... Note: These are amateur photographs, actual product might differ.

PAINTING
Below are some of the paints i used for this build (just in case u need to know) The colors above are for rust before the hairspray stage. The above are the planes base, main color. Black was added with military green for the shadings. These colors are mostly used for internal details, exhaust, turrets and metal parts. My new found friends in airbrushing acrylics Grey was used for the underside of the boomba, Red for the logo, Brown panel line was used as enamel wash! My chipping tools for hairspray technique When your graphic design fails or is non existent, there is always tracing paper to help u.. used it for my Ork Boomba logos at the wings and side... Enlarge provided decals, trace, create template using masking tape.. Done...

Wow. Your painting is super cool! Now that I see the dashboard LED, you might want to coat it clear orange and the Ork a bit of gloss so that he look like coming from Hell....
Plus, it would be cool if you put the Ork Bommer on a turn table and do a short video...

Very nice work. Like the lighting and weathering. Good idea on the decal.

Cool and unusual subject, impeccable painting and weathering, and nice special effects. What's not to like?
