Here is my entry for Jeffho's resin GB, a small kit of the ultraman Ace monster Verokron from the producer D-monster from Wonder festival 2010.
Not a bad kit. Caught my eye as I am a big fan of Ultraman monsters especially from Ultraman Ace. Ahh... I have fond memories when it was fist shown here... TV3 at 9.30 am on Saturdays... Many an art class was skipped just to watch the most awesome children's program ever created.
In Ultraman Ace, interdimensional invaders known as the Yapool have come to make the earth theirs. Their main weapons, just like in Pacific Rim (which I'm sure got their cue from here ) are giant bio-engineered weapons of war, the Choju. Compared to the old ultraman monsters, these were massive monsters of war sporting cyborg attachments or bio-engineered mutants created from a hybrid of alien and earth wildlife. The first of these, Verokron is one one of my favorite. Called a 'Missile Choju', it is a veritable walking MLRS. It can launch organic missiles from the tubes, on its back, finger tips, mouth, etc. I like to fondly call it the '*censored* Kicker.'

Here is the kit in all its glory.

Good molding, little defects. When fully assembled it's a solid figure.

It's posed in its full missile lauching pose with fingertip launchers outstretched.

The missiles come out from these tubular launchers at the back.

Eye detail, KY please teach me how to draw eye....

Did I mention Verokron was my favorite monster?

Another main advantage is the parts fit together like a puzzle, minimal brass rods are needed.
More updates coming soon!
