Trolly Updates - Scales n Finscontinues my journey and training with blending. The colors I used are: Scales Base- Mordian Blue Wash - Leviatian Purple Layer - Mordian blue + speck of enchanted blue ( watered down) - Previous mix + enchanted blue 60:40 - Previous mix + enchanted blue 1:1 - Previous mix + enchanted blue + sky blue (speck) Final highlight - Previous mix + enchanctes blue + more sky blue Wash - Leviatian Purple
Fins Base - orange Wash - Baal Red Layer - Blazing orange - Blazing orange + yellow ( speck) Wash - roots of fins - Baal Red - fin - sepia Layer - Blazing orange + yellow 2:1 Highlight - Previous mix + white ( speck) - Previous mix + white 1:1
I tot I could finish this troll by doing sum final touches and the belt. But I was wrong. My troll spied upon his brethren ( Guitarist's troll) and begged me for a skin upgrade... Sigh... I'll do wat I can but it will take a few days ... (research) (research)

TROLLY UPDATESAt last the troll is ready to rumble!!! Near futile attempt to step up a notch in blend from dark base color to lighter shades..
Did a wrong wash of badab black over the whole body of the troll, should have used devlan mud instead. Redid the whole blend of greens of the body. Lesson well learnt....
The color of the top part of the head and both arms are mixture of 1) Goblin Green30%+Catachan Green 50%+ Scorpion Green 20% 2) Previous mix + Yellow (20%) 3) Previous mix + Yellow (20%) 4) Highlight - Previous mix + White (20%)
Here are the pictures The base is done with Tamiya putty. The colors are as follows 1) Skull White 2) Bubonic Brown 3) Delvan mud wash 4) Drybrush with Graveyard earth on raised areas 5) Drybrush sparingly on some raised areas with Dark Angels Green .. 7) Wash with Thraka Green and Delvan Mud 6) Wash with 2 layers of Asurmen BLue for ares I want the puddle of water to be.. (still waiting for my water effects to further enchance the swap look) 7) To done in future - some long green/brown weeds as deco..
Can I say This GB is nearly done... I only have one more Ork Linemen left to complete (brass knuckles) ... till next...

Dynamic bro !
Wonder if they half-face-shoulder-armors have been glued ?

Its glued but can be removed with minimal force ... U see a potential problem?

A little nitpick Doc. some straps or accessories to cover-up the rear side of the 'troll' shoulder armour and the spike knuckles would definitely looks more promising. Just my cents worth here.....

Just an idea, you can add koto part and masking tape to replicate for your armour straps and hinges. As long as to filled up the exposed hollow space which can be seen obvious from certain angle. again my 'dua kupang' worth! ;D

Sorry for the late reply bro. Regarding the face-shoulder, I thought it looks kinda odd when viewed from front.
Take the 1st pic for example, we could see a clean sharp cut on the part (because the part was supposed to be connected to the other part. u see).
Then again, thats only my sentiment. I believe it has been a draining project. Consider this one done. Move on to next =)
