Thanks. Initial intention is to apply weathering on it which I have no idea how to do it. Some more bought the enamel paint. After seeing the nice color paint, I just like the way it is. Maybe apply weathering in other kits.
Thanks.

wash meaning apply a very thin layer of enamel color ... normally uses a dark color example dark grey, black , or brown to show out the shadow .... after applying the thin enamel and waited it half dry then wipe off the excess with soak tissue or cotton bud ....
here is a video link on panel line washing

Thanks for the information. My initial intention is to wash it too but the color painting turned up nice for me so thinking to stay the way it is. Maybe should try it later. Thanks.

Hi Zero1st,
When you said soak tissue, you mean tissue soaked with enamel thinner? Thanks.

Bro, first of all, didnt expect this will be a clean built especially after so much u have had done about weathering... Ok regarding the kit, i m loving it! the surface finishing looks as clean n as consistent as it could be. good job! As for the color, i love the red u have changed on the chest part, i think it suits better to the overall color scheme n design of the mecha. As for other colors, i like the greyish tone. mebbe it's the photography, i think it's a little overexpose n decoloration, which i think the kit looks a little to the edge of being a lttle monotone. However, i really love the shading i see here in the photo. It's not overshining nor loud that it really complement the real shadow cast onto the kit by real light. This is how shading supposed to be. my cup of tea. As a decal fetish freak... heheheh i would recommend a bit of decal would add up to the level of completion of this kit. Decal serves a few purpose: 1. as a fine touch on color balancing. adding decal also add some tiny bits of color here n there on your kit. helps your fine tune the overall color, n also make the whole kit more interesting. 2. add a sense of cleanliness n tidiness onto the kit. This is done by the straight n uniform wordings on the decal. Gives your viewers a stronger sense of tidiness. (This helps especially for clean builts) 3.add a touch of realism n enhance the actual size. Realism i dont have to explain. The small tiny. especially warning/caution decla, makes your kit looks bigger in size. At least create an illusion this mecha in real, is hugh. Just my two cents worth.

Hi,
Thanks Ray for the comment. Appreciate it and will put on some decal soonest possible.
For the chest part, supposed to be brown but want to see what is oxide red going to look like since thinking to try your hairspray/salt later so oxide red will be the base color.
Initially, I sprayed black onto the parts to create shadow but after spraying German gray, both look the same. So no choice, have to mix german gray with white to create two tone (look slightly different). After the paint dry, the german gray look much better.
Since I sprayed metallic onto the inner frame and weapons, thinking to add slight metallic silver onto the german gray too to create metal feel.
All of these are experimental since still new in airbrush. Good to share with you all about the painting process.

I like the color scheme! The metallic grey really gives off a terminator vibe or one that of a well oiled killing machine.
The decals really improved the look immensely though, how about adding more? ;D

I like the color scheme too. Thanks for the comment. Will try to add more decals later. Do you think the decals applied not enough?

I think a few more would look great. Decals also serve to highlight parts of the kit so put some on parts you wish to show off like the weapons armor or torso to enhance the look of it.
