I think i'm the one with 'traditional' thought, that snapfit kits not equal to completed kits. I just can't accept seam lines Well, good news for the recent kits and mold, Bandai cleverly hide those seam lines, or even make them into panel lines. As for older kits, really need extra effort to cover those irritating seam lines, without putty n painting, really hard to achieve seamline-less kits. This is only my personal point of view, actually its hard to make a nice snapfit kits with minimum "cosmetic" work. Good work on the unicorn, but is it the lighting or there's some oversand marks on the waist n backpack???

Looking good bro. Yeah the dry brush really looks like oversanding... until u mentioned it n i checked out the knee part...... Hmm... honestly i still prefer Katori's original design to put all those red color decals. looks a little plain right now due to all the grey n silver decal. I like the first picture

Thxz for the heads up guys. Ain't easy for a 'weatherman' to snapfit a clean kit though...hahaha! ;D ;D ;D Along the process, the most enjoyable part is applying waterslide decal. Though I made some hiccups to certain decals (due to thin film which get torn easily) but nevertheless it does gives a good impression on a plain kit. Sidenote: gunpla mood seems ringing back!

So it's really is dry-brushing. Would agree with Ray, somehow rather it just seems something missing without those red decals.
So since dry-brushing on the 1/144 is out of scale (as you said yourself), 1/100 should be no problem right!?? When will we be able to see the 1/100 MG Unicorn ;D ;D ;D
