I guess primer - gloss black - optional pearl Moonstone - gold - optional clear yellow will produce good gold color from my experience.
Thanks.

To be very honest.. there's no way to reproduce an accurate gold color.. you see.. any available gold paint in the market is actually silver metallic flake in clear orange paint. Which is only meant to stimulate gold effect...
Stainless steel or chrome effect can still be replicated quite close to real one using ginsan kisuttte (i can't remember correct spelling), it's some powder base that you need to rub on gloss surface, preferably black. Or Alclad II's chrome/aluminium.
I've yet seen a gold type (both ginsan or alclad), and if I'm not wrong alclad's gold is still not very convincing (it's hue and sheen). Closest I believe would be Mr. Color metallizer brass or gold (which need to buff type). Unfortunately these will lose shine after some time and it can't be clear coated without any compromise of the achieved shine/reflectiveness. Once clear-coated, it will become dull.

u say u r already using air brush right? Put some gold paint into your hand piece n spray. if it comes out well then no need to thin lor. If it doesn;t comes out well, either it clog the hand piece or the dots are rough n big, then thin it.
