Avoid industrial thinner for modelling works at all cost. Model plastic are not meant to take such strong thinner.......but as for cost effectiveness, you can use it to clean your AB though but not for color finishing.....

u can use the industrial but the consequence of it? brittle plastic as the thinner would cause chemical reaction and make ur plastic brittle i.e. easier to break. if u really need cheap thinner, use the one from Hobby HQ. pretty good. and half the price of Gunze Mr Thinner

can all of this different brand of thinner use together..? btw... at the moment i just use window screen washer to thin my acrylic paint... i dont really know or sure either this is good or bad for painting plastic models... so far, i have not encounter any problem with my AB or my paintjob... what are your thought about this... ?
