There are a three primer that I will recommend for the priming on metal part, I always like to work with metal and brass, well I love brass 1. Gunze metal primer - transparent fluid that act as a primer or first layer to your PE. I remember I wrote in some tutorial that I will add a few drop of grey primer to make my spray visible. 2. Mr. Surfacer Primer - The latest priming product from Mr.Gunze. Its a combination of Mr. Surfacer, Mr.Resin Primer and Mr.Metal Primer. Thus make this primer a multipurpose primer that you can use on any modelling material. 3. Vallejo surface primer - a PU based primer that I only use to prime my metal figures. Advantages of priming on metal? I dont see one except you can tell me that hobby paint can attach to metal without priming.
