Dear all sifu, I having trouble to clean the excessive panel line on my painted kit. My kit painted with lacquer paint thinned with Mr.Hobby Leveling Thinner, and I panel line with Gundam Marker(GM01-200). The excessive line cannot be rub off so I used the same thinner but lacquer paint will be affect too. So, which type of thinner I should use to remove the excessive line or got any other way to remove it? If possible, guide me the steps to do panel line on lacquer painted kit. Thank you

Hi Jeremy, this is how I do it. After a gloss coat over the painted kit, I use enamel panel line wash. I either thin the enamel with Zippo lighter fluid or use straight from a product called Panel Line Accent. Ok thanks. So must apply top coat before panel line wash? Can I use flat top coat instead? And will the lighter fluid remove the lacquer paint?

Gloss coat is best.. never tried on flat coat before. I think is not favourable. What I do is gloss coat --> panel line ---> decal ---> flat coat (if i want)
Lighter fluid removes enamel paints only. But excessive fluid might corrode the paints too.. try it on an extra piece first..

i m not sure about bandai's panel line marker....... zippo or enamel might not even do the trick.
Best bet n safest way is straight use enamel paint n thinner. The tamiya accent series intro by drgunpla is a pre-thinned enamel paint, which will do the job.
