I just wondering that can you make a gloss paint flat by mixing it with clear flat or have to use flat top coat to kill the shine ?

You can premix your gloss paint with Mr.color Flatbase-30 before applying onto your kit.

There is clear, n flat base.
Clear is liquid form, and when it cure, it hardens n act as a binder. Generally if it's curing well, it will level itself n form a gloss surface, just like water. This is normally we call clear/gloss.
Flat base is an additive, something like a micro balloon thingy. main purpose is the mixed into paint or clear, to make sure when they cure, the surface is m=not smooth/gloss.
If u get the idea: clear is gloss. semi gloss is clear add with a little flat base. flat clear is clear added with more flat base. This is pre mixed by the manufacturer.
