The new plamo video (not totally new, for it has been aired in Japan for quite sometimes). Ma.K. fan, you may want to check this out. Note that these clips are captured from another online source, so if you see the loading circle sign, it's actually part of the video. Plus, there are some repeating scene too, so please be patient when watching it . Ma.K. Falke & Krote diorama - The red death rayFirst part: Point of interest: - History of Ma.K. & how it is created, i.e. vitagen bottle & ping pong ball. - Ceramic tools. - Heat pen. - Ultrasonic cutter. - battle damage & creating internal engine part for Falke using various parts from various model kit (ouch!!!) Second part: Point of interest: - LED gimmick (superb!) - kolinsky brush - using release agent to do paint chipping.

Another episode of the plamo that has been aired a while back. This time it's Gunpla + diorama (aired earlier than the Ma.K. + diorama episode). Again, it's the same with the previous post, so there will be some lagging in the clip.
Bandai MG 1/100 GM Sniper Diorama
First part:
Point of interest: - Diorama to be built with 360 view. - Planning. - The making of Amazon jungle river with transparent acrylic board to achieve mirror like reflection as shown in one of the photo. - The making of all the Amazon jungle trees.
Second part:
- Modification of GM sniper into specialist type, that carries some specialized weapon that requires the specialists to arm it somewhere. - Continuation of the construction of the Amazon jungle trees.

Found this clip where Kawaguchi did a MG Gelgog. Posting it here because on minute 4:05 till 6:53, Kawaguchi explaining about the cracking issue of the plastic with enamel paint.
Translation from 4:05 till 6:53
4:05 - theme: when using the enamel paint for panel-lining, the part will crack. As a step to prevent it from happening, try do the inking before assembling the parts.
4.42 - Reason/example: When the pin is snapped into the female peg, there will be force that goes outwardly.
4.50 - If the paint stick on this part, it will become brittle, lost its force attribute that would allows it to retain its original form and will cause it to crack.
step2, inking after painting the entire part will not cause it to crack easily.
5:13 - He is explaining the reason why he used the oil lighter just now. The reason is because enamel paint take a long time to dry, which mean the paint will keep on penetrating further into various sections of the part. On the other hand, oil lighter takes a shorter time to dry, thus it will cause the enamel paint to dry faster, which could prevent the cracking from happening.
5.56 - Showing the part where it is weak with solvent (the female peg that holds the poly cap).
6.08 - (the hole that he's pointing with cotton bud) If the paint sticks at this place, it will crack easily.
6.18 - Using air brush is an ideal way because the paint will dry quicker. Then again, try not to paint the part which has force that acts on it. Beside that, take off the coating film that stick on the weak part (the peg where he's pointing with a design knife). Try to put something such as Clay in the hole (where he's pointing with a cotton bud) to prevent the paint to stick on it during painting.
Translation done by my sister.

What is color modulation? Sometimes we tend to get confused with washing technique nor dry-brushing technique or even had no idea at all. Hence, we would like to share this video and hope can learn one or two things
