HGBF Beargguy was great, much cuter than the previous build Bearagguy.
My Aim for this build will be
-Convert the build to My Avater Alphaleo in Mecha form.
-Combining the USB hub as back pack, while flash drives as funnels, to create the wow factor.
-Break away from most tradition beargguy build.
-First LED work.
-Make it cute.
And I have the grazy idea of using this USD port as the tail.
Size comparison with my on-going FAZZ. sorry FAZZ, will have to put you aside for a while.
First thing first was have the belly armor smooth-en with spare runners.
After sand papering (messy work)
Moving on the modding the paw, using old MG zaku feet bottom and some kato parts for paw print.
Some trimming needed.
Comparison with the original parts.
Paws modding.
Knee guard from MG zaku.
Test fit.
Next, working on the body armor/Alphaleo's shirt
Pants armor, the entire armor was actually taken from age-2 shield which I slowly bend into a curve shape, the back side was model from Gundam alex 100 chest amor.
Modding the tail hole, parts from build parts.
Test fit
The most challenging part of the build was making the hair/mane, spend a few nights doing mock up, but still unable to figure out where to find the right material for the build.
Finally, got an idea from using a big gachapon ball
Amazingly, it fit the head perfectly.
After cutting the ball into strips of armored hair/mane.
Another roadblock unable to figure out how to build the front portion of the hair.
So I move on to the side head armor, some parts from age-2 and wing SD
With the head build come to a halt, move to modding the arm instead, using build MK-2 parts.
Trim away armor to fit the arm pegs.
Test fit
Perfect fit
Leo's pony tail build from MK-2 cockpit nose
Test fit.
The most messy part of the build, smoothen up all the joins to make a smooth finishing
This is how i plan to hide the USB port cable inside the body
Have to dissemble the entire USB port and rewire the LED.
Back pack in progress, parts from Build MK-2 booster pack
Got inspired by Forever Gundam type of funnels, so, here I found Gundam Zabanya bits.
I got the grazy idea of inserting a thumb drive into the funny, so i tear open my AirAsia thumbdrive.
And it fit perfectly
Test fit on backpack with funnels
Finally, after a month of head scratching, the Answer of the front hair was all along inside the beargguy's box, the additional head armor from Aguy was a perfect part
After some modding and trimming.
And finally got the chance to test fit the entire head
Build a arm cannon like FA gundam, age-3 fortress parts.
Full body test fit
Full body primering
Airbrushing done
Installing the USD ports
Decaling.
Final assembly, a must for building a pair of glasses
USB port with thumb drive
And lastly test the LED
