Time to face this beast! This is the 3rd kit of the 3 commissions that was given to me, first was the Exass then the Gunbarrel. Will be out of the box as usual. For the color and finish the client wanted an artic scheme with minimal weathering, but I personally dont like the idea, I want to retail the desert scheme of the tank and put on some heavy weathering. As an armor kit fan, I know tanks like this screams for weathering. So will still persuade him with my idea and hopefully convince him. ;D If he will agree I would like to make it a bit like this. Still in the dryfitting stage. So far so good, really impressed with the quality of this kit, very nice details, most parts are snapped, minimal gluing needed. ;D

Update: Size comparison. Semovente VS KV-1. MASSIVE!!! its cool that Bandai included some photo etched parts. PE parts for the cage wall and flooring. The hardest part of the build for me. PE chains for the smoke grenades. they are very small and quite fragile to manipulate even with tweezers. I actually messed up 2 of them good thing there are spares. dryfitting stage complete and ready for priming. ;D

like the lighter shot? LOL Kit primed with Mr. Surfacer 1000. also started prep for shading by painting the panels, edges with black. then a layer of white, just to tone it down. same goes for the wheels. ;D slow progress due to the weather, condensation build up.
