Personally, I always think Bandai's designs of the SD or BB are almost always ugly, well, just not my cup of tea. This is maybe due to need for the in-game design that sticks back to what they have during the 80's......
This is a project i done recently, with some interruption from ICW's work, it took me 1 and a half month to finally complete it. No modification, just add a little detail here n there to make the whole thing look slightly busier, in visual.
Ok, photo first, sharing later.....

This is a China-produced kit, I wouldnt call it a bootleg though. Since Bandai has not produce such kit before, I would say this is more like a conversion or modified kit, just like resin GK kits; though it's a plastic injection kit.
- I was attracted by the design of it, a little more to the "midget" proportion like FW's converge series. However, the construction and fitting of this kit is the typical bootleg; even worse than the later bootleg kits by the bigger pirate companies.
- Basically, majority of the time and effort has been put into cutting, sanding to make parts fit and clean. Seriously, I dont find it fun. In fact, I pretty much gave up after 75% in the wip progress.
- Again, the result of the paint and pre shade is a little outta my expectation and satisfaction. I am using Gaianotes pure white, with gray (Heheh the same inner frame grey) as pre shade. Once again, under estimate the coverage power of Gaianote's paint. The shading is lighter than how I would prefer it to be.
- Detailings: just the usual; holes, line scrubbing, decals, and some metal parts. This roundm I use more metal transfer as rivet, which i think the metal transfer is a little lighter and shinier than I would like them to be.
- The kit originally comes with a lit-up (LED) mechanism, which i think is pretty primitive, but yet convenient and brilliant.
Ok. that's all for now. Comment and criticism welcome!!!!!!
