the Spanish centauro this kit I've been KIV for bout a year, starting back now. I comes with 2 pcs of photo etched parts using "etchmate" and a pen knife, I bend the PE parts to shape this is the first time I handle PE, learned the technique from few of our society members but never get my hands on it. Parts glued to kit using superglue strip that should be curve this can easily be done by rolling a pen knife on it thanks for viewing

Normally I begin the painting of my AFV with almost fully black, then building up the shades with the body color. This is to prevent the inner areas become lighter then the outside and it also increase the "depth" of the model kit =D Most of the areas are sprayed with flat black, leaving some area as highlights.

A comparison, the main body already sprayed with 2nd layer body color (neutral), while the turret is still the darker shade color after spraying the whole AFV with the standard body color, I add 10% of light sand color to the body color and spray the areas that needs to be highlighted sprayed with clear coat as a preparation to apply decal. Thanks for viewing

seen lots of sifu using MIG Pigments and got a very nice outcome. But I have none, so I made mine, still dunno the outcome as it's still wet when the picture is taken. The formula: Glue + saw dust + paper clay + poster color + plaster This is the first time I do reverse wash on AFV, trying something new, sifu out there please point out if's there's error the muddy areas. thanks for viewing

Whoa! What a formula you got for your weathering pigment! Personally, I never try before but do share with us for the final outcome. Personally, I used selected enamel in diluted form; mixed with chalk pastel for weathering pigment. Keep us posted then as i'm really kin to know the outcome!

Nice one bro! Personally I think your 'discoloration' can be spiced up more as it's too equal. Just my two cents worth. Lovely weathered though! Keep us posted. ;D

thanks Sherman,
Darkworkx, actually there's rust already, can't do more as modern tank is mostly well maintained.
