For your comparison with the Momoko version, my painted build of the recent Bandai Gerbera-Tetra. Attempted to do a high gloss build since the soft curves on the suit complement reflections. Pity my photography is so INCONSISTENT AND BAD! Thoughts: - Unfortunately like many HG's, the mono eye is a sticker - Details are good overall but some bits are a little muddy, just indentations. - I'm biased since I love the design of this kit but I think the proportions are excellent! - Comes with 2 accessories for the back, one's just a normal cap and the 2nd is a huge booster unit. Surprisingly (as you can see) the kit can still stand with it attached. - Part separation is just lousy. No idea why Bandai consistently realizes this design so poorly. Either be ready for lots of masking if you want different colours or be lazy like me. - Stickers... Blah!

Heh okay I'll give it a shot but for next year end year challenge... Mid-year might be difficult since that's when I'm usually very busy at work. Lot of game releases usually time for summer in japan which is mid-year.

Yeah I'm afraid the colour doesn't show as well since I have only 2 lights. My work lamp's very yellow and my fluorescent tube kinda washes everything out. I think I'll take some more pictures just with regular daylight this weekend so you guys can get a better idea of the colour.

I m not a big fan of gloss finish mecha, but i guess this one with lots of curvy surface is really suitable for it.
And you have done a very good job on the finishing!
And Darn....Now only i connect Banzai to Adrian Colin Pave'e...

And Darn....Now only i connect Banzai to Adrian Colin Pave'e... Oh no! Now everyone knows my secret identity! Thanks for the comment Ray. Yes my thoughts were the same, I usually don't like high gloss on mecha but when I saw this I thought it was just asking for it. So many sexy curves, lots of places to catch light reflections. I reasoned that its why you see so many metallic/gloss coated MG Kampfer's floating around the internet. Its the sexy curves man. If they did this in MG then I believe it'd be the next choice for a gloss coated mech. I wanted to make this just gloss coated out of box without any modifications so it'd be an accurate comparison for you guys with Zhao Heng Tan's Dragon Momoko version but if I were to take more time with this I'd probably start cutting... Parts separation need a lot of customizing if I want it the way I envision it. Still, it was a fun practice build to get me back in to painting again which I really needed.
