This is my entry for GBWC 2013. As Usual, pic first, talk later.

First and foremost, I would like to thank my brothers in modeling for all the support, encouragement and ideas.
Zero1st - He is the FaceOff Buddy for this project. Not only giving giving support during times when i was about to give up, he contribute so much in pushing myself to go a step further than i would initially anticipated. Seeing his project, always gives me inspiration and the extra push!
Besides that, he is also the one who firm my decision in one of the critical design in this project: From an initial single upper & lower limb for the gun-bow, to a double limb; which i think is such an important amendment i made as i really LOVE how much more powerful the bow looks as it is now.
The bunch in icw - Besides constantly cheering me up n giving support, these bunch also decides another crucial part of this project: The main wings on the backpack. Yes, initially Zero n i had some disagreement on the position on the wings, but with some voting, well, and some jokes n laughters throwing around, they help me made d decision to make the wing as it is now, which i absolutely love.
Lim soo Jin & Renny Dieh - This, created one of the most insecure feelings during the project. Thanks guys for the input n dare-u-try-it and the confirmation of the final size of the base is within the limit of 50 x 50cm...

Basically, this is a faceoff built of Delta Plus with Zero1st. His is a 1/144 while mine is a 1/100.
The color scheme is basically almost 100% COPY Naoki's wonderfully done Delta Plus. I try to alter the color a little while, most of the time, I still think his is better and as a result, majority of the colors are similar to his.
Basic colors are white (Gaia #01 pure white), Blue (Gaia's all sort of blue, fluorescent blue, red etc), Grey (Leftover from previous project), Clear red for psychoframe (Fluorescent orange, pink, red, clear red) & Gunze's super metallic series (With black, gold, added for different shades).
The whole kit consist of Bandai's MG 1/100 Delta Plus, BackPack from MG GP01 (Thanks Honeymic), 4 wings from MG AGEII (Thanks to Zero1st & Genosider).
One of the toughest thing I encounter during this project is to deal with clear acrylic, which i use to make custom psychoframe. Before this, I thought acrylic is acrylic, all are the same. How wrong was I! The cheapo acrylic I worked with are some low quality stuff which it cracks like nobody business. I would say there r more materials i threw away than I actually use onto the mecha.
During the process, I again lost one side of the shoulder armor, which i decided to leave it as it is. I extended the inner frame and made it into a holder for arrows, which I do not regret doing. Of course, when I have finished doing it, the shoulder armor mysteriously re-appeared again...
Other than that, all are basically standard stuff: panel line scribbling, part separations, Metal parts, detailings etc.
One of the major thing for display base n the mecha for this project is: I decided NOT to use the method I hate most - To poke a rod at the *censored* of the mecha and tell him to fly. Nobody can fly with his @ss stuffed, and it doesn't look like flying when his @ss is poked with something.
Hence I use a 1.8mm diameter brass rod, from the bottom of the foot, going thru the inner frame, all the way into the pelvic area. It's good that MG does have a full inner frame where besides the brass rod, I can fill it up with epoxy putty. The whole leg n the pelvic area is as tough as a rock. This is how i manage to make the mecha as if it spring of from the base while taking aim.
As for the base, this is something i always want to do. As a result, I decided to make it to what I like. and therefore, from a minimal size base, it turned up to what it is now. Inspiration is from Western Star Cruiser (eg, Star wars).
No doubt, this project reminds me of 2010 core fighter group project. It's a lot of uncertainty, pain, sweat, n determination(Coincidentally, it's with Zero1st again ).But joy of just complete it, is priceless.
Yes, I always believe true happiness comes with a certain amount of pain.
I hope u r not bored to death by my mumbling. Would really appreciate any comments & criticism.
