the only kit completed during my 2 months break in Malaysia ^^;;; either my productivity is going bad or RG is something that suck out your modelling spirit haha this is actually my first time handling RG kit, bandai so far had been doing rather interestingly with RG lines, with lots of experiments and daring attempt to increase its value, especially at this small 1/144 scale. been wanting to try one, finally end up with one of my favorite MS, strike freedom, and must say, for the RG version, bandai did a really good job. it managed to recreate gimmick that previously seen in its PG and MG counterpart, successfully i must say, as most of the gimmicks are not obstructing the main kit itself. articulations are superb, and regardless the bad gold, bit of paintwork will bring it to its shining glory. on the kit specifically, didn't aim for any modification on it, as i want to save that for my next RG haha. pretty much gave it a paint work based on its original color scheme, with slight adjustment to the tone, though i think i screwed up with the red and blue.think it will look better with a brighter red and a much more toned down blue. also, RG features multishade colors on its parts, though the distribution of such colors are rather meh. so took that up a couple of miles (and a plenty of masking) for a much more sensible multitone colors. nonetheless, i always tend to enjoy masking, and all the efforts paid off well. didn't do anything with the included chrome, while it kinda not blend so well with the painted gold, looked rather nice, i must say. enough talk, let photos do the rest. C&C are most welcomed, and thanks!

I like what you wrote here: tend to enjoy masking. Nothing but respect!!! Good job on building this RG, 'coz it's not easy to build esp. those tiny little parts. From the picture, I think the blue and the red is okay. What blue do you use? Cobalt Blue?

Respect on those masking...using 144 SamuelDecal waterslides? I have a sheet of generic decal from mgs2u, used that along with leftovers from samueldecals Byarlant custom set, and Frame Astrays gundam decal (just for the ZAFT logo really) so it's pretty much mix n match
