My noob build back in 2010. My first fully handpainted kit of such scale. Thus this kit holds a special place in my heart and my scared cabinet. of course C&C welcomed as my skill has not levelled up since ;D

Diff modellers diff preferences. Nobody can judged you except for yourself. No candy coat comment from me...all from my pure instinct.

Actually i think this is very nicely done!
Probably the main complaint i have for this kit is the paint chipping effect, especially the silver color. If can add another "layer" of primer in between the surface paint n the bare metal silver, it might look more interesting; or just simply tone down the silver a little more.
Besides the color, just put more time in painting the silver, take more care on the positions n shapes. Now, some of them still looks like it's brush painted than real chipped effect.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Yeah .. The silver looks brushed over ( of course , i was trying to drybrush the silver over the base paint to create the chipped effect), looks nice then but now I even laugh at the sight of it.. Anywayz, I need some explanation on the another layer of primer? between the surface paint and bare metal silver part.. How to do it? What kind of primer to use? Thks for yr time, Ray.

oh, the primer i mean is the primer in between paint the the metal. It's not really primer here since u r painting the paint chip effect. it's just a bit of gray in between main color n the silver.
Check out dengeki hobby, it has a lot of tutorial.
For your case, after u painted the silver, add a thin line of gray at the outter edge of the silver part....
Imagine this, u have a surface that is metal(silver), then primer(gray), then the main color (Brown); now u use something to scratch it. The hardest part u scratch , all the paint n primer come off, revealing the silver of the metal. some parts u scratch with lesser strength, only the paint chipped, but the primer remains, so u will see gray.....

I pretty much like this fake noob (follow people say only lol) build. for handpaint you pulled off the weathering well. I especially like the weathering of the missile launchers, It's got a vibe that you've left it out in the rain for a bit too long.
Well done bro, got brighter pics? Can see more detail...;D
