Latest completed kit. HGUC Banshee Destroy Mode Heavy Armed. Its not quite Full Armor, hence the name Heavy Armed. Colors used are a mix between Plamo UK for the solid colors, Gaia Notes for the metallics and detailed up with Citadel/Vallejo acrylics. Got the decals off Samuel Decals. This kit is Part 1 of Project Unicorn, with its sister suit being the Unicorn itself with Banshee's weapons. HGUC Unicorn is one of my favourite kits (Would have to be, for me to want to build it 3 times!) and it really is a superb build. Banshee is no exception, as its pretty much the same thing. I used the Hobby Base poseable hands on this guy so that it can dual wield the rifles, great set of hands but I won't be buying them again as Bandai are going to release sets of hands, including left hand trigger fingers! Did encounter some problems in this build, namely with the purple being too dark, and now looks too close to black. Also, due to not being able to airbrush while im away from home, I had to airbrush this whole thing in just under 2 days, hence a little rough work. Also, can't seal this thing with a topcoat coz of no AB now, so some parts might be damaged. Anyhow, here are the pics. Lay it on me!

Thanks for checking this out guys! Phoon will definitely share my future works here. I have a thread in here that show all my past works too, so feel free to check it out, its called "Appa's Display Case" Thanks for the comments bro! zero1st Thank you bro, turns out I like the blue too Also regarding posing, not much posing can be done with this guy, especially when I've glued it together. Only reason I bought the hobby base hands is coz I couldn't find a left hand trigger finger anywhere! only one Bandai made in 1/144 scale is for the HG GM Quel. Abit pricey for the hands, but I think worth it to get it to hold both rifles

I really love the blue!!!!!!
This is such a good design, black n the light blue. Fantastic! Probably the only little complain about the color scheme is that i think despite the blue being really nice, gotta do something about the gold part. i think the gold is distracting....
just my 2 cents worth.

chriswoo Thanks Mr Woo! Comments much appreciated! Rayloke Thanks! Working on the Unicorn now, so hopefully you will like unicorn better, as there won't be much gold, only on v-fin (I want to emphasize that these 2 suits are made together so I want to keep the gold the same). Appreciate the thoughts boss!
