My 2nd Airfix kit that I did for the Aviation Group Build in 2013.. This kit has two sets of decals for the RAF and Swedish Air Force respectively. I did the RAF. This kit was sprayed with primer and a aluminium basecoat. The kit was then handpainted. Main colours used were a) Humbrol PRU Blue b) Vallejo Medium Sea Grey The kit was washed entirely in Tamiya grey and black enamel. The wooden frame was bought at Daiso. The static grass and sand were meant for my miniatures use.... I just did it for the sake of a base.. I did try painting the sand but it some parts came off so I redid the whole thing minus the paint.. Well it was a fun build. Enjoy the pictures. As usual C&C welcomed. Sarcasm will be dealt with accordingly. Thank you.

Nicely done! and a very good presentation. I might not able to pull this off so well, given that, this is a 1/72 scale kit. Just a small neatpick, due to this scaling, size of the sand grain makes it look like pebbles ground. IMO, Just plain surface with Matt paint and talc powder dusting will be enough to pull this off for hard clay ground. Overall, its a lovely build. The plane is nice.. I would love to see the underbelly also! hehehe
